ice already thin –
and skin is too much,
flawless, blemished with a
hurtful –
choose this utopia
because like a fairy tale
retold –
some have money,
others only illusions,
why not both?
with many gestures faked
just because you like it that way.
and lips are sealed
when eyes do not gaze
with emotions
buried deep.
so deep i no longer remember
where it was first
found –
narration, a story retold
and every disfigured puppet
smiles at the mirror –
we’re all winners
here. in this merry train
where shells no longer stick.
cast off – with a shrug
when i no longer need you.
