Impulsive

Choice

Leap, across oceans even

when it would appear

that the oceans will have me,

I abandon logic, always having

to listen to nagging, horrid nudging

that has kept me safe, safety is

a doorway, a path like green grass

and here I find at the end, a burning

bush, not the voice of God: Not commanding,

nay, it was simply me burnt out from

living a life not ever mine.
