Sharon’s 2 cent’s worth

Poetry

2 cent’s is all I am ever worth,

from the rich who throw in

a penny,

the intelligent they whisper

and mutter about something

I am not able to fathom

even when it should be simple

for I am not the most polished

nor even average

but what have you?

Life dishes out the cards,

and I say we

are all simply dealing

with what we have,

ain’t no right,

no wrong, different pages

all of us.
