touch the sky

gray

white blank sheet

and now comes the words,

then the emotions –

wow, just wow

handed with silver platters

for others,

a dread, a curse, dang

who’s lucky?

black blank sheet

it is quite obvious

the idea of time, justice, truth

all has to do with frequency

where are you tuned in to?

ah yes, the gray, uncertain

ambiguous

the stuff of imagination

and pixie logic

best scenario of course

till the bubble burst

and justice means to me

something not quite akin to

what you hold

a butterfly with crushed wings

you say is yours to do as you please

because it is inferior – strength rules

and who can refute that?

but the colored drops

are beginning to turn obsidian

now that this is cleared.

black embraces all,

scratch,

a hint of me,

you

still debating philosophy

but a fist crushes

stone.

dust

being taken in

and lungs expanding

you call this justice.

white ponies

massacred

but there is no witness

you call this justice.

and i suppose

that heaven’s glare

isn’t the glasses you put on –

just a constant beat

that affirmation

you identify with

as for the rest,

we take, grapple

hurdle

cuddle

on far out dreams

… …

… …

… …

it’s my problem, your solution

touch the earth

your sky

my bottom

and economist they grin –

it’s scarcity

and heaven bowed

till the black

wept many colors

of me, you

rolling over

fantasies

.

i’m right, you’re right

white ponies

go to heaven –

and say they’re right

weep. turn a hard stare

on lofty dreams

labeled as truth

till the devil pokes holes

and all of human struggle

is summarized

as –

gray. gray when black and white

don’t tell quite half the story,

and gray

wins. it all depends on how

you tell the story.

does not quite sit right with

touching the sky –

shake, uncertain, more like a cheap thrill

or sugar rush –

not misguided folks

arguing about who is right

based on cut lines.

lines –

under pressure

and that’s when the devil sends his angels

because

propaganda blurs.

angels – they come with flowers thrown!

and the devil says,

i’ve been there before,

and yet i rebelled.

now i just need

to convince

you why

this uprising

makes perfect sense.
